St. Vincent de Paul's Mission for Our Future
Introduction

St. Vincent de Paul’s Mission for Our Future brochure celebrates the vision, time, talents, treasure and prayers of many people in our nearly two hundred year history: from occasional Masses in homes for 35 years, to the purchase of the little red brick church by 25 Catholic families in 1865, to the building of the current church in the 1890’s, to the vision of today’s Parish Council and Capital Campaign Committee to continue the legacy by building for future generations.

You will see our church, inside and out, along with our campaign prayer and our St. Vincent de Paul statue, giving welcome to all who seek Christ and care for the poor. You will meet our church staff and clergy. You will read letters from our Parish Priest Father Rick, our Campaign Chairmen and from two members of our congregation, one inspired by God to lead in this effort and another who has been through a successful transformation just like this before in a Louisville parish. You will see inspirational passages, and you will see a chronology of our history. Finally, we present the needs and plans for the future of St. Vincent de Paul Church, school and community. We also show you the costs involved and how your own sacrifices can help make this preferred vision come true.
